If you are a novice at trying to copy DVDs, then the CloneDVD 2.8.5.1 software is right up your alley. It’s got an easy step by step guide that leads you through the process of cloning a favorite DVD. What this software basically does is use special transcoding technology to extract and write to your recordable DVD. Subtitles and audio translate seamlessly to your recordable DVD and you can even create your own title for your cloned DVD. This is pretty cool to play around with. I’m not too savvy about this sort of stuff, but it was easy to do.
This program is fairly fast in cloning and it is also easy to use, even for this beginner. You can split up chapters and even watch a video preview slide.
Worst:Some copyrighted DVDs pose a problem in the cloning process, so you may not always be successful. It’s not necessarily the software’s fault, but the technology built in to the original DVD. Of course, this is pure speculation on my part!
